- Frigeis, Lazaro de
- (fl. 16th century)Italian physician. He was a friend of the anatomist Andrea Vesalius in Padua and supplied the Hebrew names for some of the anatomical structures described in Vesalius' work, De humani corporis fabrica. These terms were taken from the Hebrew translation of the Canon of Avicenna and from the Talmud.
